Interview with Mr. Seinde: The Man on a Mission to Give Away 1,000 Perfumes in a Year!

But for Mr. Seinde, the founder of Seinde Signature, it’s all about giving away an enormous amount of perfume—1,000 bottles, to be exact, in just 365 days. Yes, you read that right! And he’s been doing this one spray at a time since May 8, 2024. Recently, I had the chance to catch up with Mr. Seinde to hear the latest on his “Seinde 365 Campaign” and dive into what inspired such an ambitious—and aromatic—undertaking. Spoiler alert: Mr. Seinde has both heart and humor in equal measure!
Day 188, and Counting!
I kicked things off with the big question: “How’s it going so far?” With a smile, Mr. Seinde shared:
“This is day 188 out of the intended 365 days for this campaign, leaving us with 177 days to reach our mark. So far, I’ve given out at least one perfume per day, every day, since May 8th, 2024. This brings the current count to 276 perfumes distributed.”
He’s right on track, folks! Imagine that level of commitment. No days off, just fragrance after fragrance, spreading perfume and positivity wherever he goes. If there’s an Olympic medal for perfume philanthropy, it belongs to Mr. Seinde.
From 480 Bottles to 1,000: Upping the Scent-astic Stakes
Originally, Mr. Seinde’s goal was 480 bottles—already ambitious. But just like any great entrepreneur, he realized he could dream bigger. So, I asked him about this change:
“Originally, the goal was to give out 480 bottles in 365 days to share the knowledge and experience of artistic fragrances with as many people as possible, both in and outside Nigeria. Now, our target has expanded to 1,000 bottles of artistic fragrances within the 365 days, and I’m confident we can achieve it! I’m grateful to the many supportive brands that have made this possible.”
A thousand perfumes is the stuff of legend, the kind of goal only someone deeply in love with scents and spreading joy would aim for. And thanks to the support of various fragrance brands, Mr. Seinde’s goal is no longer a distant dream. It’s a daily reality—an amazing testament to the power of passion and partnership.
Super Scent Support: The Brands Behind the Bottles
Just like Batman has Robin, Mr. Seinde has some pretty amazing partners backing him up! From luxury names to local heroes, these brands have chipped in and helped turn this mission into a movement.
“We’ve received incredible support! Electimuss London has contributed 11 bottles, Agatho 18, Ramon Bejar 20, Botanicae 10, Duft Bunker 10, History Parfums 5, Alghabra 12, Fleur De Florence 4, and Plum Impression 12. Additionally, House Bourgeoisie, a Nigerian brand, gave us 21 bottles!”
All in all, these generous donations add up to 123 extra perfumes, giving Mr. Seinde a whopping total of 603 bottles (and counting) to distribute. With a goal of 1,000 bottles, there’s still a way to go, but he’s optimistic.
If this campaign had a theme song, it would probably be something epic and inspirational, with a title like Scent-spirations Unleashed!

So, how does one actually qualify to be a recipient of one of these unique fragrances? I had to know. Is there a secret handshake, a fragrance quiz, or maybe an elite perfume loyalty club?
“It’s random—anyone can receive a perfume gift,” he said, laughing. “It’s as much about spontaneity as it is about spreading joy!”
In true philanthropic style, Mr. Seinde is committed to the idea that everyone deserves to experience the joy of fragrance, regardless of their background or familiarity with luxury scents.
